Mrkala,

Hey, thanks for posting! Could you provide some pics? As I have mentioned... haven't seen to many BAM air guns!

BTW,

Just bought my kids a Red Ryder BB-gun. 70 year anniversary rifle! We will have a shotting contest later today with the Red Ryder vs. the BAM!

These airguns are excellent as a base for conversion to other type of guns.

I have owned two, and loved them.  Very accurate and strong for the price.

Nacht,

Ya, we had a good shootout!

I was amazed at how far away I could accurately hit things! You pull the trigger, and its like, "this thing has no power/ recoil", and BANG, the target falls down! It has an AK feel to it... or real gun feel.

I have my eyes peeled for more... I kinda like them.

P.S. The Red Ryder was a hoot. The 6year old can cock it, and the 9 year old loves to shoot it. Definite hit with the kids! The BAM is just a little heavy!

I would love to get one of these Chinese air rifles...any idea where I could find one?

Or even just one of the rear stocks from one ?

Thanks... RR

Raccoon,

Nope... I haven't seen one at a gunshow since I purchased mine.... I haven't encountered any on the 'net.... but haven't looked very hard.

Fun "gun" to shoot...

Mine has contracted an interesting problem though.... it fires on cocking.... yep, you pull back the lever, drop in the pellet, push the lever forward... and BANG!

I haven't diagnosed it past, "Don't shoot until fixed"......

Lock up your dogs, in case ATF finds out you've got an open bolt BB gun.

I have the same Industry Brand airgun with the magazine. Only it was made under the name Sealion at the same factory. Some friends of mine picked it up at the factory back in the 80's on a business trip.

I was told it was a proto-type. It used these crappy .177 lead pellets without a waist, that you loaded into a little magazine that you then inserted into that big magazine in the picture.

I still have the gun but unfortunately I haven't been able to find ammo that fits it after a long time of trying and no one at the factory responds to my questions about it other then to send me a catalog and thank me for my interest in thier airguns.
