This is interesting:

This tool set comes directly from the Heckler & Koch factory In Germany. These very special rare tools are used to fit and repair bent, dimpled, dented, and torqued HK receivers as well do builds.

Remove dents in the receiver and cocking lever housing with straightening mandrels and plastic hammer.
Clamp barrel with receiver into vice and check guide in the receiver for smooth operation of bolt assembly by means of "Go" and symmetry gauge.

This HK Factory German set includes:

•Receiver and Cocking Tube Gauge
•Straightening Mandrel for Receivers
•Straightening Mandrel for Cocking Tubes
This set will help set your receivers to factory specs. With the many aftermarket receivers out in the field these tools will make sure your product / receivers meet factory specs.

We waited 3 years for these to arrive and are told they are the only complete sets out there.

If you have to ask for pricing, that means it's cheaper to buy an all new rifle.

Ok, I will be the first none mod to respond. That dummy bolt carrier looks
very close (kind of) to what mine looked like. Would really like to own this
set but I bet it is alot more than I want to pay. Now only if Adam had a HK
bending jig, the real deal. Now that would be the cats meow.

HKs and anything for them are way overpriced.

Finally called, $6995. That's not a misprint, there is no decimal .

That means you can likely make it with stuff laying around for $69.95

That's what bugs me about HK. all HK items are extremely over priced, and not really worth the price. a $7000 set of tools better be gold plated and a hell of a lot better that that... they better be able to fix the part without user intervention..

A group of good buddies should go in on this, make measurements, and replicate this set. Then sell the originals and go into business selling the copies for a lot less. If people are willing to pay for these expensive German originals I am sure a lot more someones would buy a good American made copy.

HK stuff is expensive, but damnit if it doesn't me you look cool. I mean look at GSG9, those dudes look awesome in their HK gear.

You could make a much cheaper version. The one we used you pushed through the receiver and you were done. simple and worked.

Don't get me wrong... I like HK gear and the quality, but they are just way over priced. so it's rare that I buy one rather than build.

but for the price of that tool I could build a tool and AND buy 3500 rounds to feed this...

With the money that they make with the law enforcement and military contracts you would think they could give out a few freebies

While HK does make you look cool, a home built weapon makes you look cool and causes hot girls to hop into your car....well thats what I'm hoping for anyways.

BTW..you ever notice in that first picture that you appear to be angry at whatever it is you're firing at?
