Anybody read this yet? What does it mean? I hate to reopen a sore subject about the barrel ban, but I think this PDF file has already reopened the debate.

What I get out of it is that it seems to apply to any barrels imported after the ban.  You couldn't use a barrel imported for a "sporting rifle" to build an "non-sporting rifle".  Because apparently, they think the Second Ammendment is about sports.

The open letter has now disappeared.  Very fishy.

Who knows.  Anyway back to the topic, what DOES this mean?  I guess if somebody needed extra barrels for their Thompson-Center Encore, they could make an adapter that would accept MG-42 barrels and import some barrels for it, hey?

So far this means very little.  But it is a minor loop hole

I think this means a importer can import a AK47 barrel to be used in an SKS?
