As you may have noticed, we have a new weapon history section, and one of the unique things about it is all the photos.

If you have a weapon you would like posted in the history, just take a series of photos of the weapon at a bunch of angles with a lot of closeups, and email me the photos.

I'll edit the photos, and I'll do my best to write the history for the weapon.

I do need to know what weapon it is (not a what is this section).

The Ser # will be masked out in the photos.

any rifle, pistol, shotgun of any age or design...  lets help build this history section into something special based on weapons from our own collections.

The next history article will be on the 1895 Nagant pistols.  I have two of them, and I took photos of them already.  one of them is 92 years old and still a great shooter (for a 1895 nagant).

after that I don't know...  maybe one on the 1911 Spanish B 9mm, XP100 in 221 Fireball, Desert Eagle 50 AE, Baby Eagle in 40 S&W.

I don't have a luger or anything really cool with a lot of history.

Most of my rifles are modified.  even my K31 is modified, but some like my L1A1 are highly modified and hardly look like a FAL anymore.

I guess I can add the skorpion, M11/9, and UZI to the list. but it's going to be hard to add really interesting weapons without help from the membership.

Please look at the gun laws, as I recall federal law allows an individual to loan another individual a firearm across state line for target shooting. If your state allows it I could loan you a few things .

I need to update the address on my C&R, and then it's legal either way.  if you don't have one get one..   you can get dealer discounts

Ya, I have two things that are very rare for photographs. One is a second generation Colt revolver that was built as as an approval model for the Board of Directors. It is not 100% finished. What do you call such a piece? The other is a 1946 Astra 3000 in .32. It is the first year of production. The next year they changed the design. And then there are UGG's stone tools. Just to look at them brings pain. I can only post a picture and you will shiver.

Just a reminder to members..  You can submit your Rifle or Pistol for the history section.  all you need are some photos like you see in the history section, and a little background information and I'll do the rest and find out what I can.
