I am not aware of anyone selling the frames. There are still deals to be had on the complete pistols. One of the local Gander Mountains was selling used P-1s for well under $300.00 earlier this year - kind of a close-out deal.
While the design is obviously a bit old, they are still a very nice pistol in either the P-38 or P-1 configuration.

The reason i tried to upload a PDF file was the add from Shotgun News which is on my computer but it will not load. And the website does not list the frames yet so he would have to call them for info anyway...

Hello there, I've purchased the blueprints of the P-38 some years ago from a Guy named Ron from some forum I can't remember , can someone say if I can post them here? the blueprints are in German and all of them have the seal of mauser on it I don't know if there is any legal problem in posting them here, I can say the pistol is a real confusing engineering work, any attempt on building one will demand a LOT OF TIME lol,
without saying about the confusing kinds of steel in old german codes .
With any Okay I shall post them here!

Took long but here it is , the images are damn big, I don't know how, they turned into a 2mb .rar,
but any way, If you need any more images, you can ask me, I have every part drawings , but as I said, It's a very complicated design, no wonder how the krauts were able to made this one for each officer in 2WW,
If I was in charge I would have copied the 1911 lol.

I have the same ones on a C.D. and took them into a print shop and had them blown up to 5'X2' and 3'X2' and still can't read some of the dimensions..I'm still looking for clearer copies.
