Graf also sells loaded 7.92x33 ammo; the brass is Graf, made by Privizit, loaded by Hornady with N120 and their FMJ flat base bullet. Prices are about the same. I buy the brass and bullets and roll my own on a progressive press.

Same here. Also any recommendations on a gunsmith who can do or has done a reweld on a saw cut receiver and do the proper mods. Help appreciated.

I didn't quit read through all of this, but I thought I'd mention...I don't see the need to shelve the front of the trigger housing. Unlike the HK, the MP44 doesn't have the entire receiver open above the trigger pack. There is just a small opening for the hammer, then a slit cut on either side of that opening for the auto related lever and some other lever (so you can't close the hammer in front of the bolt) to go on either side of it. Once you remove the auto lever, you just need to weld that slot closed. There is no way a full auto pack would be able to work on it at that point. Just a thought.
