That's a s**y rifle right there! How did you get the belt sized down to the 5.45 cartridge? Also, in the picture with the bolt and the trigger gousing, what is the doohicky between them? Also, how heavy is that? It looks like a milled reciever almost but the rivets say otherwise.
Sorry for all the questions. I've been thinking about building something similar for quite some time now and everytime I see these pics, it gets me pumped up!

If my memory serves me, the fella who was doing the MG-47... which was only semi- auto.... actually deleted most/ many of his posts... he was claiming that he was getting disturbing calls from law enforcement...
Otherwise, I love this build! Nothing like a belt fed (semi auto of course)!

I guessing the guy is full of crap. The feds dont care about 1 guy designing his own gun in his garage over the course of a few years. THey do care about the guy building 20 AKs a week for personal use.

Cool rifle. Ive wanted to start one of these projects myself. I assume the belt is RPD also. Would you be willing to elaborate on the reciever more? Post updates for us. Id like to know more.
