1st time ever offered a complete set of semi auto parts for the Bren MKI and MKII.

The 922r parts include:

  1. gas piston (us made)
  2. op rod (us made)
  3. floor plate (us made)
  4. follower (us made)
  5. striker (us made)
  6. trigger (us made)

Plus it includes:

  1. Bolt
  2. Carrier
  3. recoil spring

With all the required semi mill work completed

Note: The striker is purposly left oversized for proper fitting. The striker material is 4130 and will need to be heat treated after fitting. A torch and bucket of oil is all that is required.

An extra heavy striker drive spring that we have made for us gives it plenty of power.

Over  175 firearms manufactured by WLA  using this design and it has worked great. The master himself, Len Savage endoresed these.

You get everything in the picture and no exchange parts needed.

Cost $295.00

Only 20 sets in stock.

Partly my fault! I've been trying to get a couple of sets of compliance parts from Projectguns with no response to my e-mails, so when I saw these with the pre-machined semi auto parts it was a bonus!

Boss,

Thanks for the buy. I got mine this morning!

Still waiting on what Mr. Mathew does with his....

Just a random though, how many compliant parts are needed on a Bren... is it possible to use 1 set to make 2 compliant rifles? Not an expert here on 922.

Anyways... thanks for posting the deal... now I am WAY over budget...

By my count, the Bren has 17 foreign made parts from the list (though I may be wrong)

Of the 20, the ones I see that the Bren is missing are:
Handguard
Barrel Trunnion
Barrel Extension

It might be argued that it doesn't have a muzzle attachment per se, as they are pretty integral to the barrel assembly, but I usually prefer to err to the side of caution on what BATFE's interpretation is likely to be.

ah,

Agreed on the ATF... better to be safe than sorry.

I was also looking at the wood offered on another thread, regarding US compliant parts. We should be able to assemble at least 1 rifle with US compliant parts!

The Boss is also offering a Bren barrel (shortened) that will take "muzzle devices"... so we could add another US part there.

Looking forward to getting my parts!

Technically everything in this set, plus a re-welded semi receiver should be enough to comply.

Personally, as I come from a C&R collecting background into this wonderfully addictive and highly dangerous (at least economically) world of SA conversions, I'm somewhat loathe to change out any more parts than I have to, and I prefer to replace parts which are going to remain completely unseen when the gun is put together which is also what makes this set great.  Failing that I'd next step towards that which is a near identical replacement to the original piece, in which the replacement wood I've seen available is a pretty attractive choice.  It won't have the dings and wear of the originals, but is at least the right shape and allows you to continue using all of the original metal bits.   I've been going back and forth on whether I want to go that route, but it looks like the easiest solution to be able to get away from having magazine parts as part of the compliance parts list.  This would be especially attractive if I could track down one of the drum magazines for the Bren at a price that I can justify.

I'd simply be happier, however, if 922(r) would simply just go the hell away...
