Does anyone have plans/blueprints for an anti-tank rifle? Preferably the english 'boys antitank rifle' from WWII, or the rusian PTRS. Any others though would still be greatly appreciated.

I'v searched everywhere and come up with nothing

The local gun shop has a Boys that has been converted to 50 cal. The receiver on the Boys is amazingly a lot like the Bren in many ways and always wondered about making a scaled down Boys out of a Bren "Kit". Not real useful but fun to think of these things.

Sounds interesting. I was really after something in a big caliber and thought replicating history would be a good start. Its interesting that the receiver is similar to the bren, after all, one is a machine gun, and the other a high powered bolt action. food for thought

Can't help on the Boyes, but I have a file on the US M3A1 37mm anti tank cannon floating around somewhere. Let me know if you are interested.

I would like to get a copy of your m3A1 drawings. The copies I have are near unreadable for much of them.

Alright, I have them saved on a disk somewhere at home. Most of it is legible but, as it is a copy of scans from drawings in the 40's, some of it is a bit tough to pick up. There seems to be enough overlap WRT to info page by page that it's worth while.

I sent a copy to someone over on the Practical Machinist Site last year that was doing a restoration. He seemed happy with it.

I'll dig it up and post here when I have some copies made.

I'm working on a 1/2 sale model of a M3A1 37MM anti tank gun. Closest one for me to copy is 100miles away. A set of drawings would help immensely. I'm a retired tool maker/design engineer and I have a comlete tool shop at home Also intersted in minture fire arms.  I may just look at building full size weapons. Alot of interesting ideas on this web site.

I would be willing to cover any cost for prints and shipping

Too bad some of the drawings are next to useless do to the poor micro filming. Also there are many parts missing, especially from the striker assembly and other breach parts.

Some of the stuff I upload is downloaded my work is always nice & crisp. Have contacted a few posters' & asked them to lift their game. Text is fine to scan in Black & White.
Text & Image "must" be done in Grey-scale or the photos just look black. I run Adobe pro fabulous program worth every penny it costs.

I built a barrel and beach ring assembly to 1/2 sale several years ago ago. Based on 37mm At gun drawings and my engineering experance I decided to start over. Right now working on a full scale cad model of breach block and breachring then I can scale it down . I wouild have bee nice to have missing parts but we will work it through.  I'm shore there s plenty of help out there on subject.

Being new to this form were do you go for new post
