I recently aquired the above Yugo MG53 Kit in a trade on another forum. I was unsure how to post the pictures together, so I posted them seperate. Anyway, without holding the parts in your hand, can you experienced MG Builders look over my pictures and give me a general idea of what additional parts if any, I will need to pick up to complete this build?

I did not see the bolt blocker. It goes in the receiver to block a full auto/ un modified bolt from being inserted. Also, rivets are needed if you want it to look as authentic as possible, if thats not a concern you could weld most of the riveted parts.

I also do not see the safety adapter. It allows the AR FCG to use the original safety and operate properly.
If you want, i can take the extra semi auto grip stick off of you hands!

You guys have probably heard similar questions before, so forgive my Belt Fed M53 naivete......What is the best source for the Bolt Blocker; Rivets and Safety Adaper? I noticed that several companies offer parts for building these kits, what's the difference will they all work with each other, is one brand better than the other? Besides building a Receiver Jig, do I need to make or purchase any specific tools that will make my life easier?

Honestly, in your pictures it looks like the AR FCG in the grip. I really like BRP Corp products, they were also the 1st company to develop this system into a legal semi auto, on his website, there is a copy of the ATF approval letter, blue prints, and a semi auto manual you can view for free. They used the AR FCG. He has all those parts you need. Priced right as well.

It's not nessessary but most M53s are missing the mount for the spider web anti-aircraft sight you have. Not nessessary but there is a hockey stick shaped piece that goes on the rear sight when using the AA.
Hard to tell in the pictures if all the bits for the ejector are in the bolt.
Recuperator will need to be modified to fit semi with blocking bar.
Hard to tell if the attachment hardware for the recuperator is all there. Bolt and nut for rear and nut for front goes on the threaded bit in the recuperator.
Do both halves of the camming piece (trunion) match and fit together?
Is the top silver erceiver piece the rear? If not you are missing a bit of receiver for the very end.

He is missing the rear 2 inches it looks like. Hard to tell for sure from the pics. I do think he has the bolts for the recuperator.
I have some spare buffer tabs with the stud. They are still spot welded to the original receiver. They were cut out during the demil process. The only reason i did not use them is because some new ones came with the parts package i bought from BRP.
If you need them, let me know.

Man, I am so far out of my building element on this project, which I am firmly conviced will take me months and years to complete...... Honestly though, Thank you, for all the help, it is much appreciated!!!!!! @ Mech, yes if you could spare the Buffer Tabs, I could use them for sure, went through the kit today and they are deffinately missing. I would send you cost of postage, let me know.
Oh almost forgot, yes the Wiselite Arms Camming sections fit together, but must be measured and trimmed. @ first I thought these were the end of the receiver, but this tutorial I ran accross http://www.projectguns.com/camsections1.html informed me otherwise, problem that needs to be solved, is where to get or how to build that last two inches of recever? Like I said above, totally out of my element........

Don't make it any harder then it has to be. If ya have the cash, get the rear from BRP and sell the other sections off to get the money back! Or at least some of it. If you do that then it is a LOT less fitting plus, you won't have the alignment issues because you only have to line up 2 sections instead of 3 or 4!
You can do this! Heck, i did it and that was my 1st one! It works! It was worth it. I could not have ever purchased a ready to fire example. So i had to build it myself. It is an adventure. It will test your patience.
Heck, if you do have 2 semi grip sticks, i will purchase 1 from you to help ya with the cost of the BRP rear and give you the buffer tabs.

I also noticed, (if you are going to rivet the rails in), you will need the little rivet tool to hold themin while you form the heads. I made mine from some bolts and nuts. They were easy to make. But you can purchase them as well. A lot of people just weld the rails in. If you do that then you won't need the tool.
