Hey Got to see the German WWII Submarine The U-505 Sat. She is on display at the Chicago museum of science and industry. Wow what a trip through time and really cramped spaces. The 20mm deck guns were on a separate display stand. My lovely wife had to bodily drag me away from trying to reach the mag release...... Lean forward just a little farther......... Anyway was a blast to just drool on the edge of the platform. All i wanted to do was take them apart and look inside, i promise i'll put them right back together. I only wanted to take the mag home If you are unfamiliar with this boat look her up, the story behind her capture is really good. A medal of honor and a lot of silver crosses were awarded to the guys who captured her. Gotta love cool WWII History. Ryche

Being in southern Wisconsin 2 hours west of Madison, you would think I would have been there before, especially considering I had some computer courses down town Chicago
