Just an FYI, i will be offering semi auto lowers for these very soon. They will be a bolt on deal with no mods required to the bolt to function, meaning no machine work to clear the hammer like when using an AK FCG. The trigger will be located in the proper place and the hammer will function properly. I will post some pics tonight or tomorrow.

You will still need to drill you bolt for the firing pin and any other mods required for semi auto conversion.

But, this takes care of the FCG as well as 3 US made parts for compliance for Rifle builds! Pricing will be very reasonable, i am waiting on cost for the required springs, as i have the rest finished.

BTW, semi auto converted bolts, Made in the USA, coming soon also!!!

Any interest?

Here are some teaser pics.

These are just cut out, still need cleaning up.

They will look similar to this, but i have made some improvements,

I could offer these 2 ways. Send me your lower and i will install them, or, i send them to you and you do it! Still waiting on springs so i am not quite sure of pricing yet but, they will be very cost effective and save tons of time and fitting!!!! The big plus is; There will be NO machine work necessary on the bottom of the bolt to function, and, the trigger stay's where it should, and the hammer is where it should be!!!

Still might need minor fitting since everyone's build is not exactly the same but, for the most part, they will be a drop in deal!!!

Also, with the PPS43's, i have a pin with a detent that will be an option for these. It will allow the lower to separate from the upper for easier cleaning!

Still trying to figure out if the detent pin will work with the KP44. It very well may. I will keep everyone posted on my findings.

More pics to come, with pricing!

Mech,

Are you going to stamp the FCG parts as "Made in U.S."? I don't believe 922r requires you to stamp where it was made, but it would be a nice touch for us builders!

I have thought about that. Not sure yet. They are defiantly not a part of the auto design so i figured that would be obvious, BUT, i did think about building a carbine, that would be nice so that there was NO question about it!

These are laser cut, i did talk to them about etching USA on them, but it was not feesable as the etching would be only microns deep. Basically, any type of finish on the parts would hide the etched USA. but i suppose i could stamp a few sets with my stamps by hand for the carbine builds!

Mech,

Ya, even if it isn't USA, maybe your "company" Logo. As mentioned, 922r doesn't seem to be heavily enforced... but if it ever is... then it would be nice to have parts that have some sort of marking. This is just to insure that no questions arise... I would hate to be handcuffed for my safety, and put into a squad car, while the "copper" tries to count on his fingers and toes how many USA parts I have!

Sounds like these are of fine quality... now I just need to dig out kits and see what I have!

Yes! Here is the latest:

I took one of the parts to my Machinist who had a little time to make the small cuts for me, and the laser cut part was out of spec to the point that i felt it needed improving!

So i went back to the guys who laser cut them for me and tweeked the program!

I also ordered more sets in Stainless Steel!!!! I also have located a source for the springs and am expecting them to be here next week! By then i will have the stainless parts as well, but, i still need to get the small part machined, which i am sure will be shortly after i get the stainless parts.

I could probably make the cuts on the parts myself, but, since i will be selling these to who knows who, I want them to be clean and professional!

Don't confuse that with cost! I am doing everything possible to keep the price way down! I am not out to get rich, that won't happen! But, i will be able to help support the site a little more and help home builders make their builds a lot easier!

The stainless has more then 1 benefit! First, it own't rust even with no finish and no oil!!

But also, it is harder and will last longer, (not like these parts would ever wear out anyways, the springs will go first i am sure!)

I will keep everyone updated on these!!! I am sure once a few get out, they will be appreciated by all for ease of build alone!!!

Would someone please tell me how to contact okie75? Remember, Tom is an old retired guy. I may be an old fart but I still stink.

Just an update on these, after some trial and error, i have decided to only offer the stainless steel versions!!! It seams that the laser cuts the stainless a lot cleaner. I am sure that there is a laser somewhere in the states that could do wonderful work with mild but, not close to me!!!

The problem was, i am cutting thinner then the material thickness! That is not easy to do with a laser, or torch for that matter!

This really does not affect the final price! It is actually not much more for the stainless, so why not? I am talking like $2.00 per set!

After some program and material adjustments, i am FINALLY happy with the parts! Here are some pics. Sorry the lighting is poor!

Also, got the springs on the way! All that is left is, some minor machine work and assembly! I will post pictures of the final assembly and a price very soon!

They will be very affordable! And, besides never rusting, it will make building a whole lot easier and trouble free!!!

sweet! I like wintertime builds as well! They are best because you have a lot of time to get them just the way that you want!

I am trying to figure that out still! There are some small items i have to procure, but, i can say as of now, i have spent money on the laser cutting, (programming, materials and labor+ more program adjusting), the machinist to make jigs to hold the parts for cutting and the cutting, springs, bolts and pins, square tubing, and my labor!!!!!!!!!

Even with all that, they are surprisingly cheap per set!!!!!!

I will have a total as well as pictures very, very soon!!! I am sure that everyone will like the price, but more importantly, the product!!!
