It sounds like i have secured a discount on these kits. I am working out the details right now with centerfire. Not sure if there will be a huge savings. I kinda doubt that due to the fact that they LOSE money shipping all parts kits! But hey, if you plan on it anyway, why not save a buck or 3?
They ship everything for $9.99. Even the ZB-37!!!!
( I am still trying on the ZB!)
That point was brought up during discussions. But, they are willing to discount for my group! I should have a price tomorrow!
Any interest? Chime in!!

I'm a big fan, and collector of Czech weapons and I have:
Vz24 Zb26 Zb30 Zb37 Zb39 Cz52 Vz58 Vz61
And the Vz59 has always been one I had my eye on for my collection, but was always out of my reach.
Now as a disabled veteran on army disability pay, with not even enough money to afford a budget, and the Vz59 comes up on a group buy. talk about evil... lol

I might be interested in this group buy. Looking forward on hearing the details.
As I understand it these are complete kits minus the gas regulator with an uncut (live) barrel. Is that right? How is Centerfire to work with if a kit come up missing a little spring or pin?

Welcome to the site! Glad an interest finally sparked a membership!

Hey craigsmg, you are absolutely correct on the kits. Complete minus the regulator, including a LIVE barrel. All of my dealings with them in the past have been very good. So far, everything that i have ever ordered has been complete so i have not had to approach them on this subject. I will be talking to them further as this progresses just to be sure that all questions such as this, are answered BEFORE the deal takes place.
You know how i like things to go for everyone! SMOOTH and SATISFYING! But seriously, i just got a response on a firm price. I am going through the email to be sure that everything is clear on this before i post. As i said, it won't be much but, they do ship for $9.99. I am sure that last year when i got that M53 kit from them, it cost more then ten bucks to ship it to me. Plus i still got it in 2 or 3 days!
More details in a little bit.

Looks like the price i can get as of right now is $919.99. That is a savings of $80.00. I assume that the $9.99 shipping charge will still need to be added to that. I am going to have to call to be sure. The email i have is not completely clear on this.
BUT, good news is, right now there is no minimum amount of kits to get that price! The price is valid for any and all members of my group! Even if only 1 or 2, you still will save the $80.00 at least! I am going to try and see if i can get it down a little bit more, or possibly free shipping. Not sure at this point on that but, i will call and talk directly to them on Monday.
I have seen some builds of this as well. There is info on these out there. Plus, i do know of at least 1 other person who got his kit from them, and it had the regulator! Not saying for sure you will get it. But i do know of someone who did.
Keep in mind, the more i can sell, the better chance of getting a sweeter deal we as a whole have!!!!
Also note;
First off, and foremost, I am in NO way affiliated with Centerfire Systems. I do NOT work for them in ANY way. I am NOT acting on their behalf, nor can my actions be affiliated with the company! Also, Centerfire Systems does NOT do "Group Buys!" Period. I also do not represent the company!
It is very simple, this is MY "Group Buy". I am purchasing a product that they happen to sell, at a quantity discount, and sharing the saving's with those interested in the product! In fact, i am not charging a fee for my time and effort. I get the SAME discount as the Group! That is it.
Had to post that, so everyone is clear and people don't call Centerfire and "try to take my job". LOL
Same deal as the Apex SG43, if there are problems, let me know and i will handle it! Questions, let me know, and i will get an answer. It saves them time and effort, and helps us all to get a better deal by being an organized GROUP!

Also keep in mind, i WILL negotiate for a better price to the end for my group. You guys who were with me on the past deals saw that, and are welcomed anytime!

Does anyone know if there is a BAFTE approval letter yet to turn this into semi.
Also, if the kit in fact has no gas regulator would an original gas regulator have to be found to build into semi or is this a piece that could be reproduced by a talented Smith relatively easily?

craig, project guns had a sort of tutorial but i has since been replaced with parts for this weapon. I am sure that since they had a tutorial, they have a letter. I am waiting on a response from them right now.I called them earlier today.

I could do a drawing if there is an available one. If I get a kit with one I can draw it up for reproduction. I cant promise I can make one, but Ill try that too as long as the features aren't too complicated. My shop is still in the formative stages and my tooling rather basic.
In general, what kind of receivers do these things have? Stamped or machined?

notso; these have machined receivers i believe. It look's like we might be able to buy a regulator! May not have to make 1 then!

Mech Warrior, Put me down for one. If I can swing the money I might do two.
Any more info on a semi conversion? If not, I may play around with it and see if I can figure out one. Even if not, I'd like one kit to build as a postie.
ETA: THinking about it, does anyone have any kind of parts diagram or list? I saw the parts on the ProjectGuns site, but I was wondering where this thing will stand in reguard to 922r. It'd be interesting to see how many compliance parts are in the thing.
Thanks

notso, will do! I will get a list going in a few minutes. I am trying to get the conversion info from someone who has the ATF letter. Might be able to get it next week. Also, as far as parts count, i am sure theat i can count them up once i get a kit if the info cannot be found. It is not difficult. There is another member from another forum that wants to be on the list also, that makes 3 of us so far!

Awesome. As of now, there is no real timeline on this. Obviously i can NOT keep this price forever!
The good news is, there in no set amount that needs to be in the group to get the discount!
Also, the more we can get, the better chance of getting a slightly better deal as well! Obviously, these are not flying off of the shelve or there would be more in this group already? ( that's my 2 cents)
Group List

Note; notso may want 2 kits! If so that is 4. I figured if there is any way to reach 10, i will ask for a better discount! Or maybe an extra belt and 50 round can? Sling? Anyone have any opinion on this? Feel free to say!
Also note, i will most likely have at least 1 regulator to copy, OR, regulators for everyone in the group next week! I say most likely cause the guy that has some, has not totaly made up his mind to let some go! It is like pullin teeth! Can't say i blame him either! :big: Not sure of cost yet but, we will cross that bridge when we get to it!
The barrels in these kits are in GOOD or BETTER condition.
