I got a kit with cut up receiver so I decided to tig weld them together with the help of a friend. nothing to show for in between, but this is the final product.

I still need to bullet button this for Kalifornia. Anyone with suggestion to fix the mag with the least amount of destruction to the pistol?

I am also having some failure to feed problem. The bullet went straight in and got caught between the barrel lips. The lip cuts a chunk of the brass casing out of the bullets at times too... I dont know if this has anything to do with the fact that my welded receiver is about 1/16 of an inch shorter than the regular receiver and I modified the recoil system just a tad bit to make it fit... It shouldnt though...
