received the prexis 80% RPD the other day finally got around to opening it up and WOW what a POS the race way is out of line by .070 barrel pilot is off center by .035. That is to say, the bolt race way and barrel pilot hole are off by a lot. I was told this would arrive in 4-5 weeks, took 3 months to get here. Was told it was done on a CNC mill and it wasn't its obvious it done on a worn out Bridgeport, or more likely some thing he picked up from garbage freight. My 2 cent's worth save your money buy the stock and a real set of drawings. Oh yeah the drawings he sent were near useless. I can not speak to the other things he has but on the 80% RPD I say save your money and do it all your self.

I wonder if those things are done to help prevent the insertion of full auto parts? I do know that no matter which receiver you buy, (besides the re-welding of an original) you will have to modify your parts to fit it for those reasons. And even on a re-weld, you will have to do some sort of parts fitting and mods to prevent the insertion of auto parts as well as comply with the "readily restorable" clause.
If it were me, and i thought it was too much work or felt that it was not right, i would ask for a refund! Most companies do offer refunds for their products.
I have been wanting to do one of these RPD builds, but have yet to get started! The carbines look sweet!
