I have the 0-8 model it has been painted a hideous blue by some previous owner but still functions fine. Power feed on the x axis. It is slow but has a lot of torque. I would like to get a Bridgeport mill but space and budget constraints are limited. "But" if the opportunity presented itself I would manage to fit it in. I also have one of the little import mills for very small jobs. I picked up a little Shurline lathe with every attachment made at a local auction very reasonable. Do you have a Cincinatti mill and which model?

Unfortunately I don't have a cincinatti mill right now although I do plan to get one when I get the other barn sorted out for all my big machinery.
I'm looking at getting a No.2 with a 50" table and vertical head, for doing all of my Land Rover & Tractor work.
The Mill I do have is a Swiss Aciera F3, which as much as I like Cincinatti mills I cannot imagine being without it.
The trouble I have with Cincinatti machines is they are very hard to find over this side of the Atlantic.
I have a sliding scale when it comes to machine tools, First I look for a Swiss machine, and if I can't find what I want, I look at American machines, then finally in equal third place British or German.

The Lathe I use for doing my Barrel work is a British 1966 Harrison L6, with a 12" swing and 24" btc.
The other Lathe I have is a Hardinge HC Chucker, which I am giving a rebuild at the moment, as it is in desperate need of it.
I'm hoping to get a Schaublin 102VM soon to make all my gunsmith tooling on, Gundrills, chamber reams, milling cutters etc.
But I have to get a tool cutter grinder sorted out first, I am in the process of building a Bonelle grinder, with some custom toolholders to grind all the tooling.

Is your 0-8 the vertical or horizontal version?
