Who out there owns a semi-auto PKM ? or does anyone know someone that owns a semi-auto PKM ? I would like to ask some questions about the fire control group. Why is there a tube extending from the rear of the reciever, thru the stock on a semi-auto ? Questions ?

I know someone who ownes 1 or 2.....the reason for the tube through the stock, as you are referring to the WLA version, is because the ATF would only approve designs that change the appearance in a way that it would be easily recognizable by agents as a semi auto only!
Unfortunately, i can not just give out his info too you, without talking to him first. If he is cool with it, i will send you his contact info.
But, i know a bit about the semi's.
