Howdy,

Some of you might know me from another Weapons building site.

Thought I’d come over here and check things out.

The weapons I am most familiar with are the Sterling, Browning high power and the FN FAL (SLR).

I’m mainly into building Sterlings these days. I’ve always got a Sterling project of some kind going.

Also build a few AKs. Other projects include VZ58, M53, ZB30, Bren, BAR, FN-D, 1919, Owen, Sten(s), Lanchester, MP38, RPD, PPS & PPSh, fau-uru, FN FAL, De Lisle, Swedish K/Carl Gustav M45, etc, etc, the usual stuff.

I’m semi-retired. Work two or three days a month in aviation and IT.

Home base is in Houston.

I read the terms when I registered. If there are any more site rules, I’d appreciate it if you’d be kind enough to point me at them.

I’m looking forward to some friendly banter with you gun nuts! Well, I hope you are gun nuts.

Because I'm on army disability, I have not been able to finish my Sterling. The receiver is complete, stock installed, and basically ready for assembly BUT...  now I'm missing the SA FCG, 16 inch barrel and barrel nut, and an SA Bolt, and I think I'm done....

But on army disability pay it's just not going to happen...  grrr.

But one of these days I'll get that darn Sterling finished.  Kind of like my Sten MKIII  finished, but needs the 16inch barrel.

at the time I could not find a barrel, or afford the chambering, and now it's even more expensive...  lol
