is this size of drill bit .356 use to make or can make a parabellum 9mm gun barrel..is it to tight or to loose to fit the 9mm slug..

9mm is the decimal equivalent of .3543. That drill bit should be slightly looser then the 9mm, especially since drill bits tend to drill bigger then that actual size of the bit!

I think it should work, but i can not guarantee it!

I say try it and take pictures for us!!

9mm Barrels have a .347 Bore and a .357 Groove on the Rifling with usually a 1 in 10 twist....

if the groove diameter is .357 then i can use this.356 drill bit for making a smoothbore gun barrel only no rifling...

@ Mech warrior- im just planning to buy this .356 drill bit,since the seller selling it very cheap,he doesnt have an idea if the item is for 9mm..he just know it is use for making a gun barrel...sory no pictures for the barrel,i cant decide yet whether i buy it or not..thanks for help..



   any other words from the experts out there....

How long is this drill bit ? Due to the wobble, the bore size would come out bigger than 9.00mm, like say 9.1 mm. Also, ideal would be to ream this drilled thingy.

It can still be used by some degree as a "barrel" but with no good fit of the round (not to mention not having rifling), so it would be not even a semi professional metalworking disappointment.

Or maybe it is really for some kind of barrel as the seller says but not 9mm, or you maybe did not measure it very well.
