Saw one F/A on a tripod at the SAR show, couldn't play with it but it reminded me to find barrels before ordering a kit.

Receiver s/n matches tag on shroud. Came with one magazine not mentioned in ad. Cursory inspection found rear latch pin detent damage past that looks like a good reweld candidate.

Closed bolt, hammer fired, floating firing pin, select fire. This is a sleeper of a semi-auto build .

I like whats in the little box behind it!

This looks like a sweet set up. I like the look of the shroud. Mag looks to be in good shape as well.

Is the metal on the kits rusted or is it just a lot of dirt and grease?  Could you describe overall condition? thanks

Light rust but everything moves except the detent that was damaged. Thin coating of dirt like they found them in a corner of a warehouse somewhere. The wood seems sound several dings but no cracks.

Gonna take it to work to clean it up so stay tuned.

Received my kit yesterday, very little rust, lots of dried grease. The stock is a goner, worms got to it (makes a good rain stick). A couple of parts are missing, but I am working with Sarco to get them replaced. I believe mine was involved in a parade at some point, I found confetti under the stock while removing it.

The side plate sent to me has a tab sheared off, I am going to see if a replacement can be sent. And how much the broken part would cost to keep. Im wondering if it can be fixed. Welding a new over sized tab, then milling to size. I'm assuming it would need to be re hardened.
