One-Ton-Gun you'll save a lot of time with duplicate posts if you search Blueprints and Drawings first.

Thanks for the addition and please post in ZIP not RAR I have two programs and they along with everyone else's hate RAR they never open correctly no idea why anybody would use the format.

Zip is a proprietary compression format, so a lot of folks avoid it.

Sorry Chief, I was under the impression this was a dump thread. A "one-stop shop" for pistol blueprints, if you will. Did I read into the thread title too much?

RAR is actually one of the better compression/archiving methods out there and a myriad of powerful free programs can work with those archives:

7Zip

PeaZIP

...come to mind! Give em' a try!
(but I've only been in the IT field for 25years now, so whay do I know, right?)

In fact ZIP has a lot of freeware apps WIN RAR is proprietary and that's why they fail to open so often the two RAR files will not open unless they are combined back into a single RAR file you can only view the first file. Both my programs claim to handle RAR they don't because you can only re combine them in WIN RAR so in future no RAR files by anyone thanks.
Now you know why they never open.

7 Zip

Freeware handles several formats supposedly better compression than ZIP

Free CAD FreeCAD is a general purpose feature-based, parametric 3D modeler for CAD, MCAD, CAx, CAE and PLM, aimed directly at mechanical engineering and product design but also fits a wider range of uses in engineering, such as architecture or other engineering specialties. It is 100% Open Source and extremely modular, allowing for very advanced extension and customization.

FreeCAD is based on OpenCasCade, a powerful geometry kernel, features an Open Inventor-compliant 3D scene representation model provided by the Coin 3D library, and a broad Python API. The interface is built with Qt. FreeCAD runs exactly the same way on Windows, Mac OSX and Linux platforms.

I have never had any problems with RAR files and have been using the program Free for years, Just right click and Extract here wherever you downloaded it to on most files. The files he uploaded, Download both and just Right Click on 1st file you downloaded and check extract here it asks for second file, Left click Browse Left click second file, hit OK and it automatically opens in PDF Format..   (But that's just the way I do it.)

I've tried everything imaginable you can't open the second file without installing WIN RAR and I have no intention of using buggy software when ZIP works so well its also native to windows without extra software.

^That's a simple mistake boss... you need to DL both archives (listed as *.part1.rar & *.part2.rar) I posted, place them in a folder together and then extract!

Since the forum only allows 5.5mb archiving/posting cap, I broke a larger PDF ebook into two smaller parts. Once all parts are placed in the same folder then extract! Easy as pie, sir!

...hope this helps.
