I recently got an Australian inch FN FAL parts kit with all the needed US made parts, New replacement spring set and 20 round magazine. I am new to this forum, but have been on others similar to this. I know its easier to buy a full receiver from Coonan and a number of other dealers, but i found great pride and passion in building things myself, im not the best machinist but im a hard worker and willing to go great lengths to learn to get the job done. Now that being said i want to finish a "80%" receiver, i have access to some quality tools, and i saw a user by the name of sprat build one from hand tools so i know its a possible task. i was wondering if anyone had instructions on the steps to finish the receiver or any tips that would make it more safe to use. Pictures are very helpful to me, im a visual learner. Thanks for your time and last question does anyone know anywhere to get reliable prints?
