Is anyone making 80% semi 1919 side plates?  All I've found is a 50% and 100%.

80% is a marketing term.  A sideplate is either a machinegun part, or a hunk of metal.  The 50% folks could label it a 99% part if they wanted to.

While true about the marketing term, the 50% would, (in most cases) have had less machining done on it than a 80% which the op asked about. And therefore more work on the customers part to make the product into a workable entity..

I have emailed the first two, never got a reply back.  I called the last one and basically got a "We don't sell our side plates, you'll have to send your parts kit to us and we'll build it" reply.  So that strikes that one off.  I'm thinking about just going ahead and milling it out on my own from a piece of steel.  If I could find prints.
