Hi all, just wondering if anyone has sources for rifle barrel quality steel, primarily mil spec 4150 bar with ndt (ultrasonic) certs. ? I've been looking around online with no luck so far. Thanks in advance. Cheers.

Barrels are Usually Chrome - Molybdenum Steel.
They are difficult to manufacture requiring specialist equipment.
You can buy barrel Liners to insert in a Pre drilled blank even that is an art in its self.

This one seems to have the properties you are looking for.

I have not tried them just used stock barrels due to the difficulty of producing rifling
