This patent shows the workings of the Reifgrabber pistol, which was chambered for the rimmed .32 S&W revolver cartridge. This pistol uses a novel locking mechanism that would be suited for home manufacture. I also believe it could be easily scaled to more powerful cartridges

its not really a novel system, its just a tilting block but mounted in the top and to the frame as opposed to the bolt
