Hey all,

Working on a semi pistol build from an ATF approved design and wanted to not fork out 170 plus for a receiver.

I have what plans I can find and know the ID is 1.375, but, can't make out the OD number on the plans. I can make out 1.575 OD at the widest point on one of the top left tube cross sections from these drawings

here but where it says materials I cannot make out the recommended OD DOM steel tube they say to start with. 1 5/8ths??

Does anyone have a receiver they can measure at it's widest OD point? What is the thickness of the receiver?

I could just order an 80% receiver from some (For 170-$225, not) one but, why not spend only $20 on steel and use the 4 axis CNC-mill in the shop? And have fun learning.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
