After a wait of 11 Mos, 16 Days, My SBR and Suppressor Tax stamps have arrived for my DeLisle Project. I have the gun 80% complete - Bolt shortened, Magwell done, Tube done, sights on, everything - but need a working set of blueprints for the barrel configuration, guide rod(s) base and end cap. Does anyone know where I can find a MODERN set - not the Patent drawings ??

Are you really going to use a continuous screw for baffles?  There's someone who makes a copy of the DeLisle - might be able to just order a bbl from them, and then baffles (modern ones) are relatively easy.

The original, I believe, used Thompson submachine gun bbls, which are readily available from Auto Ordnance (now owned by Kahr).

Dang, Kahr seems to be taking over so many gun manufactures (Desert Eagle etc etc)

for simple DIY suppressor baffles, the guys who sell the Maglite adapter that screws on as a [wink wink] dirty solvent and cleaning catch can [/wink wink] to the end of your barrel while your cleaning your rifle.. (with the disclaimer stating that the "catch can" can be used to make a suppressor).

well, they sell a simple jig that converts your typical Engine Freeze Plug's into suppressor Baffles, with another jig that insures that the hole in the middle is drilled into the center of the new baffle.

These baffles do work pretty darn good, and they are the typical old style baffle design (actually a bit more advanced) than the baffles  used in the 1990's on back to the 1940(ish) designs.

just a quick look at them and I'm sure you could make your own DIY freeze plug to baffle jig.

Just another option for you..
