I had heard a while ago that an uzi mag could be modified to fit, not sure if that is true, just something I seem to remember,

Who has actually built one of these?

OK, lets bang around ideas.

From what I have read this is an open bolt SMG. The 80% recievers have a smaller inside diameter which I assume was for a factory type semi bolt like the FMK-5. Unfortunately, I don't see a supply for these semi bolts.

As to my understanding, what we have to do is convert to a closed bolt and come up with a semi auto trigger group. Correct?

Yep. Wouldn't be that hard I don't think. The biggest problem is the lack of info out there about them.

I have a couple of these kits and as every thing seems to be drying up these days im sure that somone will come up with a good FCG idea. An Uzi mag can be modified to work in the FMK...first problem solved . The FMK kits I got from M.G.S looked new and would make a nice semi pistol or carbine.....I think Prexis has a reduced semi tube......I hope some one is working on this gun

I don't have the equipment to do such a build yet, but I think that given the obscurity of the FMK, it won't dry up fro a while.

I'm interested in learning more about these before I attempt any kind of build on them.

Q: Does anyone know of a source for a good schematic of the FMK-3?

Thanks much - MP

I too am looking for receiver info/pics/blueprints. Anyone have any idea where they might be available?
I'm thinking striker fired and a fcg like the wiselite rpd.
