I want to build My own Gun Room.  Has anyone done their own room?  What should I look out for?  Would you have done it differently? What should I do?

I have a small area in the bottom of my house that I am going to brick in with 8" block.  I expect it to take all summer so I'm am not in a hurry.

I went to someone's house to buy parts one time. He had a back wall cinder blocked up with a bank vault style door. It was impressive. Very clean. Office carpet lined benches (the thin, mildly abrasive carpet)

If I were to do it, I'd like everything on display a la the movie Kick Ass. My issue is there are laws about unsecured firearms and I'm seldom home so everything is kept inside the safe.

This one is nice, too. I like the wood table and leather chairs but can't imagine having a conference there.

Given the other enemy of guns is rust, I'd consider putting guns under the house very cautiously.  Is there ANY possibility of flooding?

I have that in my garage for storage bins. Didn't know they made other accessories.
