Well, I've got my CNC machine. I've only made pocket change so far. It's been one month and I'm 3% into breaking even.
There seems to be a big time market for replica M2HB's for vehicles. I think I'm going to try to make a few of these parts. Specifically the right hand slide cocking mechanism (not the right hand plate, which is a receiver).
I've read a few replica builds and people can weld plates and bang rivets but choke when it comes to the slide bracket. Most end up buying one. At 350 dollars for a weapon you never cock I feel I can make it out of aluminum.
Do you guys think there would be any interest in a complete right hand slide assembly made from aluminum, or even an externally complete M2HB made from aluminum?

I am located in Scandinavia, and someone here have produced 10-20 pc in aluminum. I have seen them, and they are very nice, because they are easy to put on a GMC 353, because of their weight!!!
Do you know if anyone has the original drawings for sale to M2HB ???
Most drawings can be found on the net, or here at the Forum.
