I had my barrel converted to the .50 bmg and the stripper in the feed tray was converted for the size difference. My problem is when the bolt chambers a round the feed ramp does not go down far enough to put the cartrige in the barrel so when it "does" chamber a round it really chews the brass up. What do I need to do to fix the problem?
Thanks for the help.

Is it shaving the side of the brass in a wide strip?

Sometimes it shaves the bullet some, then the next time it shaves off some of the neck of the brass, and sometimes it shaves off the side of the length of the brass. And the last time it fed a round in at an angle making almost a U shape brass and bullet. There is no set pattern except the feed ramp does not put the US .50 at enough angle to feed/go into the chamber, the round follows the guide down to the end then the bullet hits the neck of the barrel then the shaving takes place. It needs to be set at a lower angle so the bolt can guide it directly into the chamber.

What did you do on yours? or did you have this problem

The guy I got it done did not smooth/polish the edge of the chamber at the end of the barrel, it had a nice sharp corner that you could cut yourself on. A bit of lightly smoothing and the round does not scrape itself going in anymore
