I seem to recall seeing these years ago, maybe from southern trading but havent seen any lately. Does anyone make an 80% Uzi receiver?

To my knowledge, no one is making one,...but that is primarily due to the kits not being readily available and plentiful anymore. If they were, I'm confident someone would sell one.

The previous type you were thinking of was actually serial numbered by Group Industries in pre-production. They were probably 85%. When Group Industries went bankrupt, these were sold off for dirt cheap at auction, where one or two parties bought them all up. They now go for about $60 on gunbroker.com but require an FFL. (They used to sell for only $17 back in 2003). I have one. I don't know when I'm actually going to get around to building my kit on it. But it sure as hell ain't for sale.
