We have had some nice pics of battlefield pickups, but how about a thread on old rifles and pistols...
Guidelines
The weapon must be 40 years old or older to be posted, or classified as a C&R.
It can be a rifle or pistol
you can post machine guns only as long as it's a legal C&R
you must own the weapons you are posting pictures of (no grabbing photos of other peoples guns on the net and posting them)
keep the photos approx the same size as the photo below (600 pix wide)
Post what the weapon is, or other information about it.
You can post as many pictures as you like following the stats above.

While it looks new, it's an XP100 in 221 Fireball and was made 42 years ago

The name XP100 came from eXperimental Pistol number 100
The XP100 is a bolt action pistol produced by Remington Arms from 1963 to 1998. The XP-100 was one of the first handguns designed for long range shooting, and introduced the .221 Remington Fireball (often called .221 Fireball), which is still the fastest handgun cartridge ever produced by a major ammunition maker. A decidedly odd looking gun, the XP-100 redefined the meaning of handgun accuracy, and the original XP-100 is still competitive today in the sport of handgun varminting, which it helped create.
.221 Remington Fireball (1963 -1985)
My dad had two pistols that I remembered, one was a Luger and the other the XP100. he didn't have either one very long, but I always remembered the XP100 and bought one at a gun show in the 80's and have it to this day.

ya got room for 113 rifles and 37 pistols...lol. will post as i find the pics. military surplus got me started in this, then secondary pistols for mil. officers, then pocket pistols then i wanted to see how they work and start making my own.

yup.. disk space is not an issue.
please keep the width of the pictures down to 600 pix (that keeps the bandwidth low).
