These images are from the Cetme rebuild. The Jig is very simple to produce. It works perfect on the 10 flats that I recently produced! If any one needs any info let me know. Ronnie

Using the carrier probably will not give the user the desired results, on the other g3 bending thread someone milled up a mandrel that's slightly oversize. Using a purpose made mandrel of a suitable material will also reduce the chances of damage to the receiver or carrier you're using to form the receiver.

Put the rifle together this past weekend and it fired will great results. Group was 11/2" at 100 yds. Ok for a home build. The semi trigger group also worked fine. Parkerized rifle and it looks original. I will mill a heavy barrel and somewhat longer for my next rifle adventure.

rrdrakejr  (Ronnie);

          Good job! From what I can see it looks like a very simple and obviously effective HK/Cetme flat  bending jig. Can you post some detail pictures and dimensions?

Very nice job on that receiver. Glad to hear that it shoots well also, keep up the good work.

If you don't mind me asking, what size rod did you use and how far apart are the sides of the metal plates when they are closed.

Thanks

David

David,

Turn down rod from my cnc lathe. The rest of the jig was made from my  cnc mill and bad welding on my part. But it works and thats what it takes. If any body needs to know anything else fill free to e-mail me. rrdrakejr@aol.com

Thanks,

Ronnie
