LOL..... you really don't get nervous until you are down to the last few cuts. Then you are looking at not only the material cost but also all of the time and tooling you have used.

I was hoping someone would post cad drawings so we had something to work with.

Even could use those for designing a rewelding jig

Might need to wait a while until I can get the funds for a jig, and do a reweld and then a laser scan

I just picked up an FND BAR kit at a gun show today.  I can't tell if it's complete, but it appears to be in decent shape.

I know nothing about these rifles, but for 250 bucks for the kit, I figured why not.  Hopefully that's not too high of a price for these kits...

Are there still no receiver options?  I would be interested in an 80%, or even a 100% if anyone had the license to make such a thing.  500-ish doesn't seem too out of the question either, I'd just need some heads-up on it so I could set aside some cash.

Aside from what's been posted in this thread, is there really any info about these out there??  I haven't been coming across much...

I haven't seen any receiver options out there.  I know there are similarities with a BAR receiver, but I'm not sure how far off the dimensions are.  Interrupted threads for a quick-change barrel, pistol grip are definitely different, but I'm not sure how much different the bolt line-up is.

Hey guys,

Bumping the thread! Any ideas on this? I was hoping that somebody has put together a CAD dwg or worked out a solution to the FCG.

Let keep this guy going!

I know this is an old thread, but this has been built as a semi in 2011, at another forum.
