Mr. Weaponeer... "finish mine up alot cheaper than that one."

Ok... you've got some explaining to do! Do you have a kit from a demil, or are you making a clone out of stuff you have laying around?

I have a DROR 8mm.  basically it's a Johnson 1941 like above, but in 8mm, and the mag is on the bottom on the 8mm, and not out the side like on the 30.06.

I now have 10 kits. Have been working on this design for awhile. Soon to start after the VG1-5, 7.62x25 bolt action, and gas operated roller lock rifles. Also the welrod pistol. The good thing is that parts don't eat.

No they don't eat but they can really eat up $$$$ when you finally get going...
My Johnson LMG SEMI will be finished soon.
When i finally found a mag housing i didn't realize the rear mag hanger had been cut off....
Through the help of a good friend i got a 1 to 1 casting of the rear hanger.
After trying to hand cut from both steel and brass the project got shelved until i could find a machine shop that could reproduce the part well enough to work with.
This happened about 3 months ago... It took time because it wasn't a high priority project. So by about 3 weeks ago we finally had the part cut and fitted as well as finally tackwelded in place.
After test fire it worked beautifully. about this time my guy went on vacation. so next week we will get her welded in place and then she should be ready for ft. and rear sight attachment, as well as bi-pod adjustment and attachment. oooohhhh soooo close i cant wait to take her out fully dressed and ready.
Pics will follow and maybe a FW video... depends on if Ian wants to do it....
Either way after the DROR project this one will be ready soon and then the replica of the prototype Paracarbine will be done soon after...
