fjkernel,
WOW! Those are nifty. Thanks for the link. I am suprised they are considered 80%. Looks like the only holes missing are for the FCG. I do like the magwell being "cleaned" out... saves alot of time!

Guys,
I 2nd that... awesome but expensive. BUT most of the critical work is done. I bought my 80%'s they are just an outline with NO HOLES drilled, including the magwell and FCG area. So I don't know how the above rate as 80%.
However, considering all things... it would be a simple build if you have the $$ and want to do it. As a price check, how much are completed AR lowers currently running?

The Tannery Shop used to have good deals on 80% Lowers, and he used to have some that were even marked down awhile back. But that was before he was deployed to the middle east. Hes back now I believe. It may be worth a shot to check with him he also makes 80% 1911 frames as well. The one I ot from him just needed the rails cut, and holes drilled. the mag well was already done. And I paid 50.00 dollars for it. But this was some time ago and with the current political situation I'm not sure what they will priced at now.

It looks like The Tannery Shop is no longer in the buisness of supplying any 80% anything....

I've been
told that a good lower should either be forged or billet as cast lower
receivers are unreliable and weak, but I don't know who the best ar15
lower receiver manufacturers are. Does anyone have some recommendations?
